The Pre-Scheduler Application is a planning and scheduling tool designed to streamline the process of managing production orders. It allows planners to create, schedule, and track orders through an intuitive calendar interface. With drag-and-drop functionality and real-time updates, this application enhances the scheduling process and ensures smooth communication between planners, operators, and Work center.
The Pre-Scheduler Application helps organize and manage the flow of planned orders in a production environment. Planned orders that are generated from MRP run or created by planners in the backend displayed in a Planned Orders Pool. These orders can be scheduled for future or current dates by selecting them from the pool and assigning them to specific Workcenter’s. The application allows operators to view these orders, take note of their priorities and sequence numbers, and execute them efficiently.
One of the key features is the drag-and-drop functionality, which allows users to easily reschedule orders by dragging them to different dates on the calendar. Additionally, the system shows the status of each Workcenter machine (e.g., Running, Stopped), providing real-time insights into the production environment.
